Bible.org • NET Bible Tools
Part of the work I did at Bible.org in 2013 was to design several prototypes for the digital tools they were developing for the future. One of those tools was a complete overhaul of their flagship Bible study tool, now known as Lumina. This is a very robust online Bible reader and study engine. Before, the web app was information-dense and difficult to navigate. My task was to do my best to make Lumina a pleasure to read the Bible online, but also make it easy to access and navigate the abundance of rich study tools within a unified UI. Another prototype I worked on was a web-based tool for creating and sharing your own interactive Bible study or small group curriculum. A teacher can write a Bible study or discussion that includes scripture reading, interactive polls and questions, then share the teaching and feedback in person with the class or group.
