Medtronic
I worked on the concept team at Medtronic under the Connectivity & Insights - Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure division. The concept team is an externally-focused and adaptive structure that gives organizations agility and flexibility in dealing with changing circumstances. My primary responsibilities include creating direction for UX initiatives, developing user stories, wireframing UX workflows, and designing hi-fidelity prototypes. Our small team works together though the processes of discovery, scope planning, and execution of products and applications. I also serve the team as a user advocate throughout the discovery, design, & development process. Our team actively defines and conducts research studies and works to validate hypotheses with users, customers, product managers, engineers, marketers and designers. We conduct usability studies, using a variety of methods but ultimately using the best method given the circumstance. Below are some rough samples of the UX work we did.
