One of the most fulfilling projects I’ve been a part of has been the rebranding of the church that my family is a member of. Branding and logo design is not typically in my wheelhouse of skill, but this all started by merely designing a quick, simple logo for the new preschool my church was launching, Providence Academy. That project quickly snowballed into a full rebranding effort for the church as a whole. It was a lot of fun to design the elements and identities that surround me each week on the church’s campus and in the print materials I receive and use with my family. The fun in branding work is getting to explore a design concept with several different applications. T-shirts, business cards, coffee mugs, and exterior signage were all part of this journey and I had a great time taking part in it.
